Building on the strong foundation established in the 2025 Training Series, the 2026 Training Series represents the next stage in the AI learning journey for pharmaceutical professionals. The 2025 curriculum was developed through the combined expertise of leading academics and industry professionals, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the AI technologies transforming drug discovery and development. Across nine sessions, it covered topics including generative AI, computer vision, multimodal deep learning, large language models, AI agents, computational medicinal chemistry, knowledge graphs, and digital pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The 2026 series shifts the focus from understanding AI technologies to successfully implementing and scaling AI across the pharmaceutical enterprise. To emphasize practical applicability and real-world experience, the 2026 program is delivered exclusively by industry experts who are actively contributing to AI initiatives within their organizations. Through practical use cases, implementation lessons, and proven best practices, the 2026 series provide a comprehensive curriculum that spans both the technological foundations of AI and the practical strategies needed to deploy, govern, measure, and scale AI to deliver meaningful impact across pharmaceutical R&D and the broader enterprise.
The training series was developed in collaboration with experts from:
- Academia: Queen Mary University of London and University of Dundee, UK
- Industry professionals: AbbVie, AstraZeneca, Campana & Schott, GSK, Novo Nordisk, Vertex, Rancho BioSciences, Recursion, Ipsen, Parabilis Medicine
