International Women’s Day: Data, AI and Health Inequity in the Life Sciences

Marking International Women’s Day, this interactive webinar brings together women leaders from across policy, advocacy, and industry to explore health inequity through the lens of data and AI.

Rather than formal presentations, the session will be structured around short framing reflections and an open, moderated discussion. Panellists will examine where the most significant data gaps and biases in women’s health persist, how these shape real-world inequities across research, development, and care, and what practical changes are needed in clinical trials, real-world data, AI development, and data governance.

The discussion will feature opening insights from Anna Dé, alongside perspectives from Anastasia Christianson, with the conversation moderated by Becky Upton and Cristina Fasca. The aim is to spark cross-sector dialogue and highlight actionable steps the life sciences community can take to ensure data-driven innovation delivers more equitable health outcomes.
