Summary

In this virtual roundtable, leaders from global pharma organizations, including Gilead Sciences, Roche, AbbVie and CAS discuss learnings to date from COVID-19. During COVID-19, collaboration has been the lifeblood of R&D.

The panelists discuss the increased willingness among the pharmaceutical industry to share data and highlight the need for better collaboration infrastructure to make widespread data sharing a reality. They also discuss the importance of removing barriers to sharing information outside of the pharma ecosystem, the need to bring other industries into the fold, and highlight their desire to ensure this collaborative instinct seen during COVID-19 continues post-pandemic.
