Press Release:The Pistoia Alliance has announced the finalists for its inaugural Young Data Scientist of the Year Award. The award, which honours rising stars in data science, received entrants from across the global biopharmaceutical ecosystem and competition was fierce.
The finalists are as follows:
• Azzedine Dabo, GSK
• Nima Hojat, CPI
• Jack Damiani, AstraZeneca
The finalists were selected by a dedicated judging panel including Lars Greiffenberg, Senior Director, R&D Information Research, AbbVie; Angeli Moeller, Chief Executive Health Officer ZÜHLKE; Julie Huxley-Jones, Vice President, Scientific Digital & Tech, Vertex Pharmaceuticals; Bryn William Jones, Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Connected Discovery Ltd; Torsten Osthus, Chief Executive Officer, OSTHUS; and Christian Baber, Chief Portfolio Officer of the Pistoia Alliance.
The finalists will present their entries at the Pistoia Alliance London Conference at the Royal Society of Medicine on March 26, 2025. The winner will be determined by an audience vote and will receive prize money, mentoring and training from the Pistoia Alliance.
