The Pistoia Alliance Blockchain R&D Use Case Analysis Workshop is part of the Pistoia Alliance’s blockchain project “Develop” efforts, as outlined in the Pistoia Alliance project plan. The workshop will focus on evaluating the applicability of the blockchain technology to a variety of R&D-focused use cases. It is free for all Pistoia Alliance members. Non-members are welcome, and will be charged a fee.

Who should attend the Blockchain R&D Use Case Analysis Workshop?
Scientific and business managers; business analysts; software developers; IS/IT managers; informaticians and data scientists; anyone with an interest in the application of blockchain technology to life sciences and healthcare R&D.
How should attendees prepare for the workshop?
Attendees are asked to come to the workshop prepared with at least one use case to work on. A pre-workshop teleconference was held with all registered users, to assist in this preparation. You can view the video here:
What will the outputs of the workshop be?
The intention is to develop one or more relevant R&D-based use cases that the Pistoia Alliance blockchain interest community can then take on to a proof of concept stage.
